COACHING

The Troisport philosophy on coaching and training is one where each individual should be treated with utmost professionalism and the athlete’s best interest should be looked after by means of regular communication and honest appraisal. Our research has proven that there is a definite need for a well managed coaching and academy platform. Athletes are willing to spend their hard earned cash on getting closer to their athletic goals via a coaching system.

We believe that behind every successful man or woman athlete is…a coach!

We are all looking for excellence in our lives. Coaching can help you achieve this. This is why it is so important to have a coach. So let’s make this as simple as possible – coaches help you see what you cannot see. The art of coaching is about an outside observer giving you tips and techniques for improving your game and telling you when it is time to rest. Regardless of your uniqueness, you can learn how to maximize your strengths to reach your goals and dreams. When you work with a coach, you will mostly likely reach them faster than by going at it alone.

 TROISPORT MULTISPORT COACHING AND COACHED GROUP SESSIONS

Troisport Multisport Coaching has been set up by the extremely experienced and qualified coaches and team at Troisport, with the aim of assisting athletes achieve their goals. Whether that be completing your first triathlon, or gaining a Kona slot. Between us, we have well over 30 years of experience in the sport, and have a huge amount of knowledge and understanding about what it takes.

Each athlete received a personalized training program, which is loaded weekly/bi weekly on their Training Peaks calendar.  It is reviewed on an on going bases and altered and edited as needed. You will have unlimited access to your coach through email/ whatsapp, and will be able to pick their brain on nutrition advice, goal setting, your race schedule and anything else you might need. In addition to this you will have access to Troisport’s coached group sessions, which are currently

Swimming: Tuesday and Thursday at St Stithians 6pm

Running: Tuesday and Thursday from Troisport/st Stithians 5:30am

Cycling: Wednesday and/or Friday at Troisport 5:30am. Sunday from Avianto 7am

TRAVIS CAMPBELL (HEAD COACH)

Travis has been coaching for over 10 years, and has helped many athletes achieve their goals. Having raced at the highest level of the sport, he knows what it takes. He has both an international (ITU level2) and a local (TSA level2) coaching qualification, and worked as the continental coordinator between 2011 and 2013, training coaches and hosting high performance and development camps, throughout Africa. Travis’s experience and knowledge has earned him a reputation as one of the counties top coaches.
